Advocare 24 Day Challenge Update

I am finished with my Advocare 24 Day Challenge.  Excuse the hot mess “I just rolled out of bed” look in my before & after pictures.  Clearly I don’t fix myself up to go to the gym. :)

To be completely honest I ended a few days early.  I knew that while at the Influence Conference we were going to be fed breakfast & lunch.  And I let myself splurge a little (or a lot).  But, I came home ready to jump back on the bandwagon.

Here is my final weigh in:

Before – 125 lbs

After – 120 lbs

Although I didn’t see a huge difference in the scale I lost inches.  I went down an entire size in jeans and I can see it in my waist and thighs.  Besides, weight is just a number to me.  What matters most is how I look and feel.  Which is amazing.  My energy level is much higher than before!

I plan to continue to take the MNS packets (which contain a multi-vitamin, probiotic, and a calcium supplement as well as other supplements that help me sustain energy and fill in the nutritional gaps).  I also will drink my Spark Energy and take Catalyst (a branched chain amino acid).  I also plan to eat 80% healthy (allowing myself a couple of cheats per week).  And working out five times a week doing a combination of bootcamp and running.

Our Facebook challenge group is still going strong.  Many that have ended their challenges plan to continue with their new lifestyle and stay motivated with the help of the group.  Some are just starting the challenge.  Please reach out to me if you’re interested in hearing more.

  • Jenny Collier - I do a bootcamp style workout as I am clueless in that department. I just show up and they run me through the workout of the day. I have heard good things about the Advocare workout DVD though if you don’t have a gym membership.
