At the beginning of the school year my first thought is organization and a new planner.  I created this free printable planner last year to work as a homekeeping notebook binder.  It’s customizable so that you can personalize it to suit your needs and continue to use it year after year.  I wanted to share with you a peak inside and what each individual printable looks like.

Download this free printable planner that can also be used as a homekeeping binder notebook. Get organized with printable calendars, to do lists, gift planners, grocery list, babysitter notes, and so much more!

I, like most of you, have been organizing and planning for 2015.  We have a lot going on with travel and school functions for our Kindergartner and Preschooler.  So, I designed this free printable 2015 calendar to hang on our bulletin board so my husband and I are on the same page.

You can download yourself below and hang or use in your  homekeeping binder or printable planner.  Happy planning!

I had been struggling with balance as a work at home Mom.  The guilt of being on the computer or my phone when it’s supposed to be family time is just something that eats at me.  But, at the same time I handle all of the office work for our family business and the writing and behind the scenes stuff for the blog as well.  So there has to be some work time factored into my days.

What life typically looked like for me before my new schedule was waking up when the kids woke up, no exercise, going back and forth between work & family time all day long, never shutting off work mode because I was never getting anything done (which meant staying up until all hours of the night to try to complete tasks), feeling like I was always dropping the ball, always overwhelmed, and never feeling like I was a good enough Mom or Wife because I could never sit and just BE with my family.

Creating a Schedule

A couple of months ago I watched a promo video from Chalene Johnson advertising her program Smart Success.  One video in particular has stuck with me…and that was on scheduling your days.  I wanted to tell you a bit about it as it has changed my world.

Today marks the second day of my home management binder printable series.  If you missed part one be sure to check out Every Day Cheer for the calendar & to do list printables.  Today, I am going to share the printables I use to keep my home in order.

* All printables are editable in Adobe Reader.  Be sure to download fonts Century Gothic and Cambria Italic if you don’t already have them.

First, is the list printable.  It can be edited so that it can be used for just about anything.  Pictured here I have used it as a shopping list and keep it in the pocket of my binder for easy access.

On the right you’ll see my important information sheet.  I wanted something that I could keep on my desk in case of emergency.  Or that my husband could go to in case I wasn’t home.

In addition to the important information sheet I also wanted something that, at first glance, I could find medical information to in case of emergency.

A babysitter notes sheet to keep on hand.  I don’t always remember to write out such important information for our sitters.  So, I created a printable that can be easily accessed in case of emergency.

I’ve also designed an editable blank calendar that can be used in a variety of ways.  I use it in the home section for meal planning.

This grocery list is one of my favorite things.  It’s editable so that you can list the things that your family typically buys.  I love being able to keep extra copies here and simply highlight what we need to bring home from the grocery store.
