Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken
  • 1 whole chicken around 5 pounds, insides removed and washed and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • aluminum foil
  1. Roll up a few small balls of aluminum foil and place them on the bottom of the slow cooker to serve as a rack so it doesn't touch the juices that will accumulate.
  2. In a small bowl combine the paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the seasoning mix all over the chicken.
  3. Place the chicken on top of the aluminum foil. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
