Did this November fly by or what? Here is a little recap of what I shared over on Instagram. Be sure to follow along there!
We attended an 80’s themed Halloween party. My costume was an 80’s school photo:
We celebrated 8 years of marriage:
My hubby had a fall roller skating and shattered two of his knuckles on his right (dominant) hand which resulted in surgery. I was a worried mess beforehand — not knowing the severity of if they would be able to repair the issue or not. So, I did lots of praying to calm my nerves:
I shared a printable holiday planner which has been my go-to this holiday season.
I cracked up when I woke up one morning to find Hudson and Ella had dressed themselves and were making themselves breakfast. They were taking their role of helping Mommy while Daddy was down seriously:
We kicked off the holiday season with How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical. It was so fun! If it’s in your area and you have the chance to see it…do so!
Mom & daughter day. Shopping at Utica Square and mani/pedis with Aunt Kelsi:
Our first fire of the season:
Ella’s artwork for Daddy:
My morning essentials: Coffee and my Day Designer Mini.
Giving thanks for all of our blessings:
Packing for our getaway weekend at Carlton Landing:
The Humphreys hosted us for dinner on our first night in Carlton Landing. It was an amazing night with a delicious dinner and wonderful company!
A picture before our family pictures:
The Christmas Gathering:
Family day seeing Big Hero 6 with our neighbors:
We had bouts of sick children this month. Ella had strep and Hudson had a 24-hour virus:
We caved and decorated our Christmas tree before Thanksgiving:
Hudson’s Charlie Brown Thanksgiving picnic at school:
Buddy, our Elf, was found in a drawer by Ella (oops!). So, he came back a littler earlier than planned this year:
The day before Thanksgiving prep:
Our annual tradition of Handprint Turkeys. Mr. Independent decided he wanted to trace his own hand this year:
Our table set and ready to go for Thanksgiving dinner:
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
This song has been on repeat!
My friend Thuy and I traveled to Oklahoma City for the XO Holiday Make Shop where we learned chalk hand lettering, wreath making, and decorated Christmas gifts. Such a fun day!
