BLTs are one of my favorite summer foods. My Grandma Ella used to come visit us every summer and buy a pile of tomatoes from the produce stand and I remember it being one of the meals we would always eat with her.
In an effort to skinny it up I swapped the bread for lettuce and let me tell you…I didn’t miss it. So, the lettuce wrap BLT has become my new favorite summer food. Find the simple recipe below!
- Romaine Lettuce Leaf
- 2 slices of Bacon
- Two Tomato Slices
- 1 Tablespoon Mayo (optional)
- For one Lettuce Wrap BLT take one Romaine lettuce leaf, spread 1 tablespoon of Mayo (optional), place bacon and tomatoes on top, and enjoy!
