Lettuce Wrap Tacos

These lettuce wrap tacos are an easy and healthy swap when we are craving Mexican food.  Even the kids eat them like crazy!

Clean Lettuce Wrap Tacos

Lettuce Wrap Tacos
  • 1 head of butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Toppings: chopped onion, chopped tomato, salsa, avocado/guacamole, cheese, etc
  1. Combine the following dry ingredients into a bowl to create your taco seasoning: chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red pepper flakes, dried oregano, paprika, ground cumin, sea salt, and black pepper
  2. Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add turkey and cook, breaking up meat with the side of a spoon, until meat is cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and cook 1 minute.
  4. Divide meat mixture into individual lettuce leaves. Top with desired toppings.
