amy is a long-time friend of both mine and my husband. she and my hubby grew up like brother and sister as their mothers are the best of friends. and she and i met when we were teenagers and became instant friends. we were even pen pals.
amy and her husband relocated from california nearly a year ago and are expecting their first child in november. i wanted to make this shower really special for her. this has been a long time coming and we were excited to be able to celebrate!
the invitation was simple. a clothesline with onesies strung across the front. i wanted to incorporate the same thing into the decor somehow - so my sweet mom picked up items off of amy’s registry as her gift.

the beverage station featuring coffee, mimosas, and water. since i went with amy butler paper as the decor i simply wrapped coffee cups with different patterns.

the fantastic seana hon designed this cake. i would highly recommend her — the cake was beautiful and delicious and the price was unbeatable.

the favors were joy’s hope mason jar cupcakes.

i served paula deen’s french toast casserole and joy’s hope make ahead breakfast bakes. have i mentioned i adore the joy’s hope blog? her salted caramel cupcakes are to die for. i did a sundried tomato, artichoke heart, and feta bake as well as a sausage, onion, pepper, mushroom, and tomato bake.
