Our sweet Ella is very much a girly girl. She loves dolls, princess dresses, nail polish, and makeup. When we built our house almost 2 years ago we set up her big girl room. While it’s always a work in progress I wanted to share Ella’s room with y’all here on the blog. You can view Hudson’s room here.

It is safe to say that I’m obsessed with a good gallery wall. I have them all throughout my home. In fact, when designer Holly Mathis has helped us in the past and I’ve suggested photos or gallery wall she might have just told me that it may slightly be overkill. But, as a former photographer I have hundreds of beautiful images of my family and being the sentimental person that I am everything that I hang on my walls must have meaning and not just meant to look good. I get a lot of questions from those who have been in my home about how to create a gallery wall so I wanted to explain my process to you today.

What I learned when I created a gallery wall around a TV. Sharing tips on finding gallery wall ideas, sizing, and easy installation.

When building our house I enlarged our pantry which cut into our laundry room space. Eventually, I would like to swap our washer and dryer for a stacked pair and remodel this room with more cabinets and storage. laundry with wall mounted drying rack, ana white laundry pedestals, and 3 compartment sorter

Hudson’s room is still a work in progress…but I wanted to share with you what we have done thus far. You can see our original inspiration board here.

Still on our task list:

- Revamp an Ikea Rast dresser to use as a nightstand (I’m thinking painted with some rope handles).

- A rug

- A metal basket filled with either books, vintage baseballs, or something else instead of the frame on the right side of the dresser

- Add another pillow to the bed

But, I love the way it’s looking thus far.
