It’s Christmas card season and you know what that means…time for new family photos. Today, I want to share with you what I chose for our 2013 family photos and give you some tips & tricks as to what is pleasing to the camera.
Last week I shared some back to school bargains for a preschool girl. And this time it’s the boy’s turn. Gap had a 40% off sale last week which I always love — did you find any goodies that you just couldn’t pass up? These orange pants for Hudson were calling my name. I love dressing Hudson like a mini version of my husband. And they often go out in similar outfits. Some of my favorite trends in little boys clothing right now are colored shorts and v-neck tees. I am also loving the Native shoes. They are perfect for the pool or splash pad!
in october we are having our family pictures taken by my friend, madison vining. i put together a storyboard to help visualize our outfit selections. excited to have some updated pictures of us as a family! even though i suggest that moms know how to use their digital SLR cameras to capture amazing every day shots of their families. (don’t know how to use yours? check out mamarazzi of tulsa). i always suggest that they also have family photos done at least once a year. it’s just about the only time i’m in front of the lens of a camera.
