Christmas card season is my favorite! I love running to the mailbox each day in December to see if there is a new card in our mailbox. So, naturally, sending our own cards is great fun as well! Last year we ordered our holiday cards from Minted last year and absolutely loved how they turned out! I knew I wanted one of their gold foil designs…but picking out the perfect one was tough! I loved so many of them.

We hosted my side of the family this Christmas. My Dad and Stepmom came in from Kansas on Christmas Eve. So we planned to attend the Christmas Eve service at church and then went out for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. But, first, we let the kids open up their Christmas jammies.

I was so ready to get our holiday decorations up this year. We opted for a real tree and I couldn’t wait for my home to be filled with the smells of Christmas. The weekend after Thanksgiving we brought home our tree and started decking the halls.
