Category Archives: Our HomeWe are in the midst of making over our master bedroom. We have had the same bedroom furnishings since we were married 7 years ago…and our tastes have very much changed since then. I wanted something that felt grown up, cozy, and flowed well with the rest of our house. We painted all of the walls in Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy, picked up a new headboard, and are working on making over a couple of Ikea Rast dressers to use as nightstands. I’ll be sure to post a picture when all is finished.
I was so ready to get our holiday decorations up this year. We opted for a real tree and I couldn’t wait for my home to be filled with the smells of Christmas. The weekend after Thanksgiving we brought home our tree and started decking the halls.
We painted the brick on our house. Here is a little before & after (or during rather). The color if the painted brick is Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige and the trim color is Benjamin Moore Texas leather.
We have been decorating our home for Halloween within the last couple of weeks. Holidays are just so much more fun with kids, right? Halloween was just another day for many years for me. Now? I can’t get enough of all of the fun activities, decorations, and I’m even dressing up for a Halloween party this year. Something I haven’t done in over 10 years. Today, I’m taking you on a little tour of our Halloween decorated home:
Our home office is coming along with the help of Holly Mathis. We still have a few touches left like adding more art above the bookshelf. At our old house our loft was our office which only had room for one desk with my husband’s computer. I love having a shared space that we can work while our littles can color or play on the floor.
