we went to a birthday party in our new neighborhood this week and were shocked to discover that they had started framing our house. it’s been so fun to see the construction process.

Category Archives: Our Homehere is a little peek at what our kitchen will look like in our soon-to-be house. if i wasn’t a pinning addict before…i certainly am now. i don’t know how people went through the building process without such inspiring spaces. we chose floors similar to this (a little lighter though):
we also chose an apron-front sink along with white subway tile as a backsplash. the cabinets also have a modern look similar to this (no glass though) as well as the cup pulls:
i was elated to hear that they broke ground on our home last week. within days they had the footing & plumbing in. here is a peek at our floorplan. i can hardly wait until the day that it looks like this.
i made sure to photograph each of my children’s rooms when they were shiny and newly decorated. after seeing them 1+ years later i realize i need to shape them up a little. but they will do for now as ella will be converting to a toddler bed within the next 6 months and i’m sure hudson will be outgrowing his and onto a big boy bed soon. ella’s room: and ella’s room:
