my friend trisha of tg photography just came out with a set of photoshop actions that i just had to share with y’all. i am a huge fan of clean edits (meaning not too over saturated or too much fluff). most actions that i come across i don’t find super useful…but when i got to play with trisha’s action set i fell in love!

this week i am going to share how i get out from behind the camera. i am in very few pictures these days. but, with the help of a tripod and a camera remote i was able to get in the shot.

here’s how i did it: i had my family sit on the bed while i set up my camera on the tripod. i adjusted my settings and focus on them and took a test shot. i then set my camera remote to take the photo two seconds after i pressed the camera remote button…and hopped in the frame.

ps — i love the shot of them jumping on the bed. even though they are blurry it captures them in all of their toddlerhood. busy, busy, busy.
