A few years ago we fell in love with a delicious sweet potato and sausage recipe from Epicurious. The smoked meat, wilted spinach, and potatoes made for a delicious and hearty meal

Since cleaning up our diets I wanted to try to create a different version and came up with a skinny slow cooker sweet potato and sausage soup.

I am a huge fan of Greek salads so when I spotted this Greek Salsa recipe on Designer Bags and Dirty Diapers and just knew I had to try it. We recently went to a birthday party for a new neighbor and thought this would be a perfect appetizer. I didn’t have all of the ingredients on hand so I put my own little spin on her dip. Once the flavors started to meld together it became even more delicious.

Needless to say it was a big hit and my husband has requested it multiple times since!

If you love Greek food like I do you will love this recipe for Greek Salsa. An easy appetizer that is a unique and delicious dip to serve with pita chips.View full post >>

Strawberry poke cake is my absolutely favorite. My sister and I usually request it from our Mom every year on our birthdays. This year I thought I would test out a recipe for skinny strawberry poke cupcakes.

They are just as delicious as my mom’s cake version (with fewer calories). And having them in cupcake form helped me not feel like I needed to eat the entire pan. That really happened once…hence my need for skinny versions of food. :)
