Years ago we started the tradition of planting magic jelly beans on Good Friday. Court and the kids gather up a trowel and a handful of jelly beans and head out to our raised beds.

They dig a hole, throw in a jelly bean or two and cover it up with dirt. On Easter morning the candy has magically sprouted where the jelly beans were planted. The kids absolutely love this tradition.
