Ella just loves playdough so we are always looking for new ways to play with it. One cold afternoon I decided to tweak our Frozen playdough recipe to make snowman playdough. The playdough is sparkly and resembles snow. And paired with pretzels, chocolate chips, and carrots she had a fun afternoon building a community of snowmen.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon of oil (I used vegetable)
- 1/2 cup of salt
- 1 cup of boiling water
- Pretzel sticks
- Chocolate Chips (mini chocolate chips would be even better but I used what I had on hand).
- Carrots cut into wedges.
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar, and oil into a large bowl.
Add your 1 cup of boiling water and your glitter. And then stir together.
Once the dough starts to form knead it to get the glitter all the way through. Then it’s time to play!
