• attended boot camp three times this week. and am super sore because of it.

• am taking a blogging workshop called mom blog money blog. it’s so much information but i’m floored with how much knowledge i’m gaining. if interested in hearing more check out the link below:

• a crafting fail. i painted hudson’s dresser with annie sloan chalk paint and wasn’t a fan of the color. i used paris grey which ended up looking like a light blue once on the piece (although it doesn’t show in pictures). i tried darkening it with annie sloan dark wax and it looked even worse.

so i made a batch of chalk paint myself (mixing 5 tablespoons of plaster of paris and 2 tablespoons of water per 2 cups of paint) and repainted it. then i applied minwax clear finishing wax over it. here is the final result:

• had dinner and went to a hockey game with our best friends:

• finished the kid’s easter baskets (post coming soon).

• checked up on the new house twice. the first time they had delivered the dry wall…and today it was all going up.

• ella had a dental cleaning and brought home her toys to give to her brother. melted this momma’s heart.

• hudson’s class had crazy hair day at school…but hudson cried when i tried to make his hair crazy. i couldn’t bear his big alligator tears so i made it look as normal as possible.

• we packed all of the decor in our living room and it’s feeling so empty. we’re hoping to tackle packing one room per week…our may is looking mighty crazy and it would way too much pressure to pack an entire house alongside of that.

• i curled ella’s hair and put blush and pink lip gloss on her and she couldn’t stop staring at herself.

• ella is my big helper. she likes to sneak bites of whatever i’m cooking in the kitchen.

• dad gave the kids a bath complete with mohawks and glow sticks. he’s much cooler than i am in their books.

• i took a cue from my friend shannon in her no pressure day. we went out for lunch and splurged on cookies at the end of our meal.
