Valentine’s Day Tradition

I love traditions. And while we have traditions for just about every holiday…we don’t have one with Valentine’s Day. When I came across the idea of a “heart attack” I knew it was the perfect tradition. And one that would grow with my children.

When Hudson & Ella wake up tomorrow morning there will be little hearts on each of their bedroom doors. Most with messages telling them things we love about them. One of my kid’s love languages is words of affirmation. I know they will just beam when I read to them how wonderful they are.

We are also going to celebrate with heart shaped pancakes and strawberry milk for breakfast. Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
