These lettuce wrap tacos are an easy and healthy swap when we are craving Mexican food. Even the kids eat them like crazy!

Lettuce Wrap Tacos

- 1 head of butter lettuce leaves
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Toppings: chopped onion, chopped tomato, salsa, avocado/guacamole, cheese, etc
Instructions
- Combine the following dry ingredients into a bowl to create your taco seasoning: chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red pepper flakes, dried oregano, paprika, ground cumin, sea salt, and black pepper
- Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add turkey and cook, breaking up meat with the side of a spoon, until meat is cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir in taco seasoning and cook 1 minute.
- Divide meat mixture into individual lettuce leaves. Top with desired toppings.
