We have been decorating our home for Halloween within the last couple of weeks.  Holidays are just so much more fun with kids, right?

Halloween was just another day for many years for me.  Now?  I can’t get enough of all of the fun activities, decorations, and I’m even dressing up for a Halloween party this year.  Something I haven’t done in over 10 years.

Today, I’m taking you on a little tour of our Halloween decorated home:

Hi ladies! Linking up with Darci, Christina, Liz, and Natasha for another Five on Friday post.

This week I am going to share some of my favorite find on Pinterest as of late.  You can follow me HERE.

01.  School Lunch IdeasPainting Sunny did a week of lunch ideas which I got a lot of new ideas from.  Check it out of you struggle with what to pack in your child’s lunch.

03.  Printable Lunch Notes – Speaking of school lunches have you downloaded the free printable (and editable) school lunch notes I posted a few weeks ago?  Click HERE to download.

03.  Maxi for fall – I lived in maxi dresses this summer so I have been looking for a way to transition them into fall.  I like this look with a simple fitted long sleeved sweater.

04.  Halloween ChalkboardDarci’s Trick or Treat chalk art is calling my name.  Is it October already?   I’m dying for jeans and boots, pumpkin patches, and cooler temps.

05.  Painted pumpkins – Speaking of fall I am dying to do a fall craft.  How cute are these painted pumpkins?

Hi friends! Linking up again with Darci, Christina, Liz, and Natasha for Five on Friday.

01.  My kids started school this week.  Although I am so excited for us to be back on a schedule again (and to have some alone time who am I kidding) it is a little bittersweet that my boy will be in Kindergarten next year.  I’m hoping this year goes by really slowly.

02.  Fall Chalkboard – I updated our chalkboard wall with some fall chalk art.

03.  Candle Scents – I picked up these candles last month and started burning Sweather Weather this week.  Love it!  Pumpkin Carving also smells pretty amazing.  But I still think it’s a bit too early for the pumpkin scents…it’s still 80-90 degrees here on a daily basis.

04.  Pumpkin Spice Latte – I need to get my hands on one of these things before my 24 Day Challenge starts on Sunday.

05.  Fall Clothing – I mentioned earlier in the week that I am on a Contentment Challenge which means no fun new fall clothing for me.  However, I did create a Shop Your Closet Pinterest board that will help me re-create new outfits with pieces that I already have.

Hi everyone!  I am linking up with Darci, Natasha, Christina, and April for another Five on Friday post.

01.  Cucumber Moscow Mule — In addition to buying a couple of copper mugs and the makings for Moscow Mules for my friends, Crystal and Dan, I bought a set for myself also.  When browsing Pinterest for a recipe I came across this Cucumber Moscow Mule.  Sounds pretty amazing to me!

01.  Hashtag Note cards – I think this hashtag note card set from Ashley Brooke Designs is just #darling!  Am also obsessed with her mugs.  The “Everyday I’m Hustlin” is a favorite gift of mine to give.

03.  Bridal Shower Planning – Ashley is getting married in less than 6 weeks.  So the bridal shower planning is in full affect.  I, along with a handful of her friends, are throwing her a brunch to celebrate.  When I spotted this metallic dot burlap it had Ashley written all over it…and let’s be real it had me written all over it too.  Can’t wait to see how we pull it all together to celebrate one of our favorite girls.

04.  Rodan + Fields – My friend, Christy, sells Rodan and Fields.  Have you heard about it?  They are the doctors behind Proactive.

I have been hearing the wonders of the product line for some time and figured it’s high time that I start an anti-aging regimen.  Let’s face it…I’m not getting any younger.  This is not Christy but an image I spotted that I have been amazed by.  The Reverse line helps to remove sun damage and take years off of your face.  So excited to see how these products work for me.

05.  Chalkboard Downloads – I recently came across this Amazing Grace chalkboard design that I love.  A 24×36 sized download is only $9.99.  I had it printed on canvas as a gift for my stepmom.  I think chalkboard downloads are amazing.  Some of my other favorites are Recipe for Crazy and J&Paper.

I hope you lovelies have a great weekend.  I am off on a little adventure with my babes (read:  a road trip to see family).
