Make your own Kinetic Sand

Kinetic sand is something my kids just love. It’s fun to play with, easy to clean up, but the price tag on the store bought version can be a bit much. So, when I saw a recipe to make your own we decided to give it a go!

What you need:

- 50 lb bag of sand

- 6 cups of cornstarch

- Dishsoap

- Water

Instructions:

Place your sand a plastic container. Mix in the corn starch (not pictured).

Then, add 6 cups of water to a bowl:

And a few tablespoons of dish soap to the water:

Add the water mixture to the sand:

Eventually, we just began to mix with our hands to make sure it was well mixed.
